College
I started college in 2021 not knowing if I could really code or build websites. Four years later I have been able to make a lot. One was for a tourist company in the Borders, Scotland. After a few weeks lessons I was able to code a cafe page with different items for sale as well as various other pages including a contact us page.
Cakes
Another was a cake shop using React. This was a difficult experience as it was a project that only lasted a few weeks but at the end of the process I was able to use React which was extremely encouraging. The website looked good and I barely ate any cupcakes.
Bikes
Another was for a bike rental shop based in Kelso in the Borders. This took some imagination, I walked around on google maps which gave me some inspiration. There were lots of places to recommend to cycle to. A few years later I visited the town and was extremely confused, I sure I had been there but knew I hadn't, it took a while to work out.
